Should Chiropractic Marketing Strategies Include Google Plus Pages?
Ben Altadonna has recently incorporated and is testing a Google Plus personal profile page into his online chiropractic marketing plan. Should YOU (make sure to read “here’s the deal” below)?
Well…the answer to this question is somewhat complicated and still up for debate. The answer is YES, Maybe…or Not! Here’s why…
Google+ is owned by Google and Google is the worlds #1 search engine. 70% of all searches for products and services like chiropractic and a chiropractor (in your town) are initiated with a Google search. The #2 search engine is YouTube…also owned by Google. And recently, Google has linked YouTube and Google+ up such that any YouTube comments must be made with a Google Plus account. This eliminates comment spam and helps to grow the platforms
Google Plus is the place to be if you are a chiropractor, dentist, small or large business owner or brand. You can’t afford not to be there.
And…Facebook is on the decline…especially among the younger users. And it’s FREE…at least for now anyway. And very easy to set-up. It’s a “No-Brainer”.
That’s the positive side of the story anyway. For some busy chiropractors, it’s just not worth the time or energy and takes them away from the primary job at hand…taking care of patients and creating a WOW experience for them.
But if you are so inclined, you can set-up a Google+ page for your chiropractic clinic. Or a personal Google+ profile for yourself and a page for your business. You can share links, posts, and comments back and forth.
But just to get your feet wet, a personal profile page is fine to start.

Please feel free to share the board on facebook, twitter, Linked-in, and Google+. You can also email it to friends. We will keep it updated every week with new chiropractic marketing ideas, tips, and strategies that you can use to build your business.
As you may or may not know…Ben Altadonna is turning The Practice Building Alliance into ChiroTrust, which will have it’s own Google Plus Page (and a new Facebook page). This page will link to our new ChiroTrust website which will be an online (authority) resource for consumers seeking information on most of the major conditions chiropractors treat. Consumers will be searching for ChiroTrust doctors in their areas as the word spreads.
Whether or not you are one of our members of ChiroTrust or not, you may want to consider a Google Plus page and should seek out other chiropractors, medical providers, and people in your local and Google Plus community that you can share content with and provide value and utility for each other. This is a major part of the underlying basis of social media…sharing information for mutual benefit.
Feel free to check-out and friend some of our ChiroTrust Online Ambassadors such as Dr. Gregory Johnson and Dr. Tammy Cashion. You can also visit our Director of New Media, Dr. Eben Davis to see what he is doing.

Here’s the deal: If you are on-board with ChiroTrust you will have the power of Chirotrust behind you and may become so busy you don’t have time to mess with G+, or you have someone do it for you. We have the resources behind us to help you grow and have some exciting new features in store for you this coming year to simplify your life. There is going to be a big demand for doctors who have taken the ChiroTrust Pledge.
And please remember…Google+ is all well and good…but the real magic needs to happen in your office from the second a New Patient comes in the door and forever after. Create a WOW experience and deliver the ChiroTrust promise and you will create lifetime patients that stay, pay and refer!
There are and will continue to be many members of ChiroTrust that do not have a Google+ page (and never will) that will continue to thrive with our “done for you” systems. So if you wish to continue to be “hands-off” when it comes to your marketing systems, no problem, we will continue to do the heavy lifting while you do what you do best…take care of patients 🙂
