You’re Behind, Doc

Good day.

I hope you had a restful and meaningful weekend!

Here in California, the weather has been magical.

I spent the weekend in Pebble Beach along with Taylor and Makiah…
resting, walking, and enjoying a few of the fine restaurants in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

I stayed in a beautiful home owned by the founders of Fremont Bank.

…Their way of thanking me for all that I’ve done for them.

The house is huge. I can’t take pics inside but I guess I can take a pic toward the outside…

I can stay there virtually anytime that I want. Pretty cool, huh?

But do you know what can throw ice cold water on a weekend like this?

Feeling behind with work.

I’m not behind. I just feel this way and maybe you do too.

For me, it’s a typical Monday morning feeling. I just learned to live with it and work from it.

That’s how important 3-day weekends are for me and my members… We don’t let this Monday morning feeling of being behind ruin our Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

It’s counter productive.

If we did, we’d actually end up getting less done, feeling more stressed, and having no life.

So, if YOU feel behind, that’s okay, just get on it! You have Monday through Thursday.

Even if you have to get up two hours earlier or go to bed late, it’s a small price for having EVERY Fri-Sun off.
