Every month, print out a “Profit and Loss” statement (“Cash Basis” not “Accrual”).

Whomever does your books can do it for you.

Look at all of them each and every month. Keep them in a folder.

Also, look at your credit card statements each and every month, both personal and professional.

If it’s all online, print them out as well. Put in a different folder and yes, look at ALL of them each and every month.

12 a year for personal.

12 a year for professional.

The time it takes to do all this will save you money and time.

Once you get past the emotional pain of paying attention to money in and money out, you will be and feel empowered.

You’ve got to do this.

Cut all unnecessary expenses.
