I’m sure that you’d agree that when it comes to relationships, confidence is attractive.
…and attraction is always in flux, it fluctuates moment by moment.
Attraction is affected by communication, frequency of communication, body language, tonality, appearance, actions, reputation, reliability, etc..
…and it is just as true in business as it is in your personal life.
Overall, Chiropractic as a profession lacks Confidence.
Sure, as it relates to prospective students, practicing Chiropractors, and the small segment of the population that is open at any given time to its message, Chiropractic and Chiropractors can be perceived as “confident” and even maybe over confident.
But where it matters, with the major influencers:
- The media,
- The masses, and
- Other healthcare professionals—specifically M.D.s,
…Chiropractic and Chiropractors Cower.
They’re probably affected by the awareness of how controversial, mistrusted, and “unscientific” Chiropractic is (or as it is perceived).
On one level, it is what it is and nothing can or will change it. The forces against Chiropractic are too strong.
So with the help of Dr. Dan Murphy, I created “The Modern Physician Letter” (MPL).
It was not to change the minds of the media, masses, and M.D.s.,
but to mitigate the impact that they have on your patients by mailing to 20 M.D.s in your area each month on your behalf and for you and by placing the MPL counter display in you reception area letting patients know that you educate and work with M.D.s.
This is extremely relieving to your patients—especially the new patients whom ChiroTrust does not attract for you.
So that’s why I created the MPL, why you should submit your list of 20 M.D.s to ChiroTrust (if you haven’t done so yet), and why you need that display in your “waiting room”. Of course, if you are not a member of ChiroTrust, you will have to become one first.
Dr. Robert Cialdini calls this “Social Proof”…one of the most powerful triggers of influence there is.
…and social proof creates confidence.
