Okay, let’s talk about others.
Who is in your head?
A sibling?
A parent?
A neighbor?
An acquaintance or close friend?
Your spouse?
Or is it someone online whom you don’t even know? (This is more common.)
Someone who makes you feel less than….
- you aren’t doing enough
- you don’t have enough
- you aren’t enough
First of all, as you know, nobody can make you feel anything about yourself.
That’s your job.
Take this job very seriously. It’s a game you cannot afford to lose.
If you aren’t diligent or if you are easily distracted, then the wrong person in your head could trigger you to do things that aren’t congruent with who you truly are, buy things you don’t really need, or become someone you don’t even know.
Tune them out.
Unfriend them.
Unfollow them.
Both online and offline.
Be conscious of your thoughts.
Control who is in your head.
In your head, walk-ins are not welcome.
