What is Wellness Care?

July 14, 2021 By Ben Altadonna

Business is about fact finding, strategy, and execution.

That’s it.

Most Chiropractors don’t find /accept facts, don’t employ the right and enough strategy, and are inconsistent and incomplete in execution.

Facts help answer the “Go / No Go” question.

Facts help determine what to do and what to scrap.

Facts reduce bad decisions and keep you on track.

Bad decisions come from assumptions, emotions, and passions that are not in alignment with the opinions and wants of the marketplace.

Back to wellness care. What is it?

I think we would both agree that exercise, sleep, good nutrition, positive mental attitude, loving relationships, having a purpose, and periodic spinal adjustments fall within the realm of “Wellness Care.”

…and I’m sure you can come up with an even longer list.

But here is what matters. Here’s the fact…

Wellness Care Is A Hard Sell.

It’s very difficult to talk, explain, or educate people into what they…

Don’t do well,

Don’t do enough,

and

Don’t want to do.

It’s difficult in the short run and virtually impossible over the long haul of one’s life.

If you don’t make it easy for your patients to win, you lose.

Period.

“But Ben. I have a ton of singles, couples, and families that come in the office month in, and month out…for maintenance/ care!”

I hear this from time to time.

But I also know this. This is a fact…

Even if you are subtle in how you introduce and offer ongoing care, and keep many, you are still losing more than you are retaining.

You are missing out on 3-5 times more referred in patients per week.

But it doesn’t end there. Here’s the funny thing about human nature…

When you release patients without mentioning or recommending further care, when you maintain communication with them online and offline with valuable daily content, THEN the job of building your practice becomes effortless.

No more selling, telling, explaining, defending, convincing, reminding, mentioning, educating, proving, hinting, defining, or anything else that you do to try to attract and keep patients.

Instead, they just keep coming in on their own and for their own reasons.

Accept human behavior as it is. (Facts)

Leverage it with ChiroTrust (Strategy).

And we will do most of the work (Execution) for you.
