How many thoughts do you and I have in a day?
Hundreds?
Thousands?
Millions?
But how often do we spend time to think? To really think to create solutions, to make the best decisions, to execute on our principles and values?
Then, there is who we really are… The observer of our thoughts. The master of our brain.
I think it’s important to realize who or what is running the show, you or your brain?
When you say “I changed my mind’…
What or who is the “I”?
Who really are you?
So use your brain and spend time to think.
But also know who you really are and who is really running the show.
It’s not even the byproduct of thinking.
It’s something else. What it is exactly, I’m not quite sure but I will say this…
Tap into it that subconscious force.
For me, it surfaces when I don’t think or have thoughts.
When I hike.
When I let go of trying to control people and situations outside of my control.
When I am engaged in activities that bring me joy.
That’s what brings the clarity, the correct perspective, and the right next move that THEN requires thinking.
