Talk less.

There’s something magical about talking less.

Not only does it create the space and opportunity for others to be heard, it enables you to do more think’n.

…and I’m convinced that thinking is far more productive and effective than talking.

Now you might be thinking…”But Ben, I have so much good Information and wisdom to share!”

I hear you but…

There’s nothing more attractive than being interested in what others have to say…EVEN IF it is of no interest to you—especially as it relates to your patients.

Everybody wants to be heard and understood.

So try it today “on” your patients AND staff!

Give it a shot.

Do less talking and more listening and if you do feel the urge to speak, compliments and asking questions go a long way.

Volunteering information is not as valued as responding to questions, requests, and just plain listening.

Listening rarely creates resistance or misunderstanding.
