Realize, Then Ritualize

Nothing has helped me manage my life more than realizing what matters to me the most:

  • serving others

How I figured out what to do has been more about determining what not to do than anything else.

It’s no different than a master sculptor knowing what to take away in order to reveal the sculpture hidden in the stone.

Creating what you want requires you to first remove what you do not want.

You must “know your no”.

This requires self-awareness and self-awareness requires asking the right questions and the willingness to let go.

As I accumulate ways of doing and being that serve me and others the most, I begin to ritualize.

I create daily patterns of behavior.

I urge you to do the same.
