Do you feel like your practice, chiropractic marketing, its demands, and its overhead are like a huge wave that continues to pound you into the sand?
Sometimes, does it feel like life is having a party but you weren’t invited?
Or…
Are you the life of the party but tired of the energy that it takes to keep the party going?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, I just want you to know that I understand.
I know what it is like to feel lost and/or out of control.
I’ve been there. I’ve tried the “fake it ‘til you make it” routine. I’ve done what I thought I was supposed to do in practice.
As a result, I ended up sleeping in the billing office, sneaking out in the morning and back in at night, and showering at the gym with all my belongings in public storage and the trunk of my car.
My chiropractic marketing consisted of spinal screenings at Walmart, Walgreen’s, and Street Fairs.
Then, I decided to stop attending chiropractic marketing seminars and ignore what other chiropractors were doing to succeed (or at least what they claimed they did), and started listening to what I knew deep down inside was the right thing to do. That’s when things started to change.
The day I said, “The heck with scripts and long treatment plans”, “no more speed visits and open adjusting”, and “no more focusing on PVA or Pre-Pays” was the day everything turned around for me.
When I focused on what patients wanted, treated them accordingly, and started communicating with them in multiple, subtle, and elegant ways… my practice and my life transformed.
That became my chiropractic marketing strategy: giving patients what they want!
Did it happen overnight? Absolutely not.
Did I feel like I was going backwards, not forwards? At times, yes.
But once I made the necessary home and office adjustments, I started building momentum and things turned around a lot faster than I expected (or hoped)… just as it has for the thousands of chiropractors I’ve helped in the last 25 years.
It’s a whole new world when you give patients what they want.
