Life happens 24-7.

Money is spent and made 24-7.

That is why you must look at your practice as a 24-7 opportunity to build and maintain relationships as well as attracting people to come in when your practice is open.

Does this mean that the more hours your practice is open, the more money you will make?

Absolutely not…

As a matter of fact, one indicator of a well-run practice is how much revenue it generates in the least amount of time and hours of operation.

There are approximately 720 hours in a month.

There are 4.3 weeks in a month.

Even if you are open 40 hours per week, that’s still roughly a little over 23% of the time.

This means your office is closed over 75% of the time.

So what you do or don’t do 24-7 matters.

If all you do is market your practice 23% of the time…

If all you do is answer your phone live when your practice is open…

If all you do is communicate to the patients in your office and ignore everybody else…

If all you do is rely on your character and your clinical results to build your practice…

If you think you can double your revenue without strategically ramping up practice investment to at least 50% to get there…

Then…

You are not a businessperson.

You are an employee of a business that you happen to own.

Someone needs to run your practice like a real business.

24-7.

Even if you don’t want to double your revenue, if you want even just a little more profit, then the best way isn’t necessarily to cut expenses, but to reappropriate resources… including your time.
