Everyone feels overwhelmed sometimes, no matter how busy and/or successful they are.
I know I do.
When I am overwhelmed with work, responsibilities, or activities, I focus on getting things handled quicker.
Speed kills overwhelm.
How do I increase speed?
I pick the smallest task first—something that I can get done quickly and easily.
Then I go to the next smallest task.
It really doesn’t matter what the task is as long as it represents something important in my work or personal life.
Before I know it, everything (performance, mood, momentum, etc.) improves.
What will you get done today?
Make a list, prioritize the list based on the amount of time, effort, and complexity required to complete the task and then tackle the small stuff first.
This list should evolve with new things added and eliminated daily.
That’s how I run ChiroTrust and my life.
It works for me and those who are smart enough to listen to me. 🙂
