For the record…
I’ve made way more money doing “snail mail” (paper, ink, stamps) than I have from doing anything else including (but not limited to):
- YouTube
- Live talks
- Emails
- Trade journal ads
- Google Adwords
I can’t tell you why that is the case.
…Because any real marketer doesn’t guess and relies on testing and results.
So I continue to snail mail.
And I continue to use Facebook and Email.
For strategic reasons, I don’t do much or any YouTube, Print Ads, or Live Talks to market my business.
Snail mail works for me and my members but it won’t work for anyone until the positioning, the product, and the messaging are congruent with what the market wants.
I don’t usually recommend doing snail mail to strangers these days, but NOT sending out snail mail at least twice a month to your mailing list—your past and current customers—is definitely
A BIG Mistake.
