Sure, if you could the motivation, the mood, and the knowledge at will, you would get a lot more done and achieve your personal and professional goals.
- hobbies
- health
- wealth
- relationships
- bucket list stuff
- even uncluttering your garage
You would achieve every desired outcome every time.
But that’s not how the brain works.
Doing the required behavior and action first is the only way to achieve a goal.
Not waiting for the mood, the feeling, or all the details first.
Listen, half the stuff I do I don’t feel like doing or just figure it out as I go.
To workout, I workout.
To eat right, I eat right.
There is nothing to feel first.
If I only did things because I felt like it, I probably wouldn’t get out of bed.
Even in relationships, to get the feeling back, you just got to “behave as if” first.
Otherwise, you’re sunk.
So in 2022, flip it around.
Take action first.
Because the feelings, the motivation, the knowledge, and even the results come last.
