We humans are habitual beings. Thirsty for control, certainty, and unfortunately, comfort.
It’s the comfort that keeps us from creating better habits for themselves.
Procrastination
Blaming
Consumerism
Alcohol consumption
Poor diet
Sedentary behavior
…all forms of comfort seeking, escapism, and avoidance. Bad habits worthy of re-evaluation.
We all have at least a few.
What I found that helps break them, at least for me, are studies, research, and personal stories of triumph.
YouTube is a great resource for content that can lead toward the elimination of habitual patterns that do not serve any valid purpose.
We all know what our bad habits are. You know what your bad habits are.
Eliminating them is probably the most productive thing we can focus on because it’s the biggest bang for the buck as it relates to our time, attention, and thoughts.
You’re worth it!
