Do you know all of the things that require your attention?
Do you write them all down?
How do you manage all that information so that it doesn’t all need to be in your head all the time?
Here’s what I do…
I have a cheap filing system (Picture Below).
On the right is where I keep all my files pertinent to 2019. (2018 has been removed and remains at the office.)
It’s a cheap plastic file holder that I got years ago at Office Depot.
I have a similar one for my personal life, but the one pictured below contains folders for ACI, ChiroTrust, LifeAidBevCo, Rental Properties, Banking, Investments, and all other active projects.
This plastic box stays with me in my mobile office during the work week, as does my Disc-Bound Planner made by “Tul”. I love this planner because unlike a notepad, it’s really easy to take a piece of paper out and place it back in, and to move it about within the planner itself.
I also use a “BEST SELF” Journal.
Whatever system you have, stick with it as long as it provides you clarity, organization, and the ability to get things done.
We all have things that we want to do, or are in the middle of doing but…
“Done” is all that matters.
“Done” will set you free.
“Done” is your only way out.
Think and plan for each day a day in advance.
Pull out the necessary folders that pertain to those projects or activities.
Use the planner and journal if/when necessary.
Get things done by first getting things out of your head and into a system that helps you stay on top of things….
One day at a time.
