Chiropractic, Communication and Commitment

April 4, 2014 By Ben Altadonna

This week is about why chiropractic patients divorce you.

Today is about what Ben Altadonna calls the 2 “C’s”

See, your practice is about creating and maintaining relationships.

You are in the people business and the reasons why patients divorce you are the same reasons why some marriages fail:

LACK OF EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

AND ONE OR BOTH ARE NOT COMMITTED

Communication and Commitment.

Chiropractic and The 2 “C’s”

In practice, more times than not, it’s the patient who is not committed and the doctor not doing the communicating properly and not nearly often enough.

Obviously, you can and should improve your communication, both the type and frequency, and that’s something ChiroTrust is doing for you or can do for you (see below).

But how can you alter patient commitment levels?

1. By attracting the right patient in the first place with the right message to the right market.

2. Creating fertile ground.

3. Giving patients what they want and how they want it.

I’m spending my life pounding this message to this profession and to my members.

Doctors who resist, struggle. Those who don’t resist, along with their patients, transform!
