“Cash Practices” Myths

No more insurance hassles.
Every patient pays at time of service… in full.
Or better yet, each patient pays up front for all their care.

Who wouldn’t want that?

Nobody likes the time, expense, and hassle required to get paid… especially long after service is rendered.

But what if I told you that none of this is true…and that the combination of time, expense, and hassle to attract patients who are willing and able to pay you “cash” costs you way more than accepting and dealing with insurance hassles.

Here’s why…

“Cash” patients come back less and typically, the ones who “pre-pay” leave with remorse and never come back.

“Cash” patients also refer less.

“Cash” patients must be replaced and replacement costs are, well… costly!

You do not want to be in
the patient-replacement business.

You need to retain customers over a lifetime.

Cash patients are hard to retain.

Money is made by attracting patients who pay, stay, and refer.

Even with high deductibles and co-pays, patients expect doctors to “accept” their insurance.

Focus on giving patients what they want and make it about them—not you, not Chiropractic.

Be market driven,
not product or self-interest driven.

The fewer hoops your patients must jump through, the better… for them and for you.

This is how you build, maintain, and sustain a profitable, low-hassle practice where you can easily work 4 days a week and never worry about new patients or money again.
