Ben Altadonna: Good Habits For Chiropractors To Have

Hi…Ben Altadonna here. I love my work; giving doctors “done for you” patient communication tools for referrals, retention, automation, and systematization…as well as how to think accurately about the business of chiropractic (which by the way, should ALL be about supporting you and your family).

And since there are only a very few hours per day when I am fully energized and motivated to work ON my business, I work ON my business FIRST every day. Why? Because my business success depends on it…and so does yours.

So when do YOU work ON your business? Whenever you can fit it in? Or do you do it late at night when you are exhausted and most fearful?

This is what I recommend you do:

Find a place in your home, office, or town that relaxes you; where you have absolutely NO distractions and GO THERE each day; even if it’s only for 15-20 minutes and THINK about different things you can or should do in your practice . I use a journal; one with no lines in it so I can create charts/graphics of my vision, as well as notes in the margins.

Write down things that excite you about your office, your home life, short term and long term goals, trips you want to go on, etc. I’m always looking for better tools, books, apps, programs, and technology to make my business planning and online research even more fun.

The key is to make work fun and it starts with working on certain things at certain times. This helps:
• Save time
• Increase productivity
• Automate your life
• Creates habits

Managing your time allows you fit in time for everything! All it takes is a little thinking, planning, and execution. Create these habits. Start today.
