Did you put flour in it?
“No, I can’t afford flour.”
Did you put eggs in it?
“Yes, but I only put 2 because that’s all that I had.”
How about the vanilla extract… did you forget the vanilla extract?
“No, I didn’t forget. I’m not that stupid Ben. But I didn’t put it in because I don’t like vanilla.”
Building a practice IS just like baking a cake.
You need the right ingredients at the right time and in the right amounts.
The process is not very forgiving.
It can be messy.
But it’s not hard.
And if you do it right, it’s worth the effort.
