As I mentioned and suggested to a few ChiroTrust Committee Members, working three days a week is just as possible, productive, and profitable as working four.
Currently, four full days a week works for me, but one day I will take one more full day off a week. (I will NEVER retire.)
But why work only three days a week?
Is it possible?
When is one ready to do so?
First, let me say this…
There is nothing wrong with working seven days a week if there is no better use of your time and you absolutely love doing so.
But if you have a family, if you have friends, if you aren’t healthy, if you miss workouts, if you have a bad diet, if you have other interests, then chances are that working every single day of the week (including weekends) will not work for you.
Same goes for working six days a week, by the way.
Okay, back to a three-day work week…
Rarely is “THAT CAN’T BE DONE” the best and most accurate response to anything in life.
I operate from the “WHAT WOULD IT TAKE…?” perspective.
“What would it take…?” initiates thinking and opens the door to possibility. (If you make asking the right question your default, it will serve you well.)
Let’s have some fun…
Why work three days a week?
It adds 52 additional days off per year and potentially eliminates 52 days of additional employee overhead (or more if you are working 5-7 days a week).
When is one ready to do so?
When “one” wants to and is willing to do what it takes to make it work. (If this is you, then feel free to bring this up at the next Committee Meeting. To reserve a seat, click here. Attendance is free.)
Is it really possible?
YES. The only thing holding you back is you—your beliefs and/or your fears.
So, should you?
I don’t have that answer for you.
It’s totally okay to work more than 3 days a week. Don’t lose sleep over this. 🙂
Just remember that this is your life.
Do what you want.
Lastly, I saw a movie on Netflix last night called “Christopher Robin” (Trailer Here). It’s a cute family-friendly film with a profound message.
I highly recommend it.
