I’m sure I’m going to get some haters on this one…
You don’t need social media to build or maintain a practice.
Certainly, you can post or even pay to boost posts…but it isn’t necessary…or at least it shouldn’t be.
My bet is that well over 90% of Doctor’s offices of all types do not use social media at all.
So why do so many Chiropractors use social media?
That’s a great question.
…and that’s the question we all should be asking as a profession.
I think I know why.
In my opinion, it’s because most Chiropractic patients don’t stay patients.
They “try” an office, stay a while, and never come back.
Then they “try” another.
Then another.
Then one day, they may decide to just stop going to Chiropractors all together.
This requires many Chiropractors to spend a lot of energy chasing patients.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
It shouldn’t be this way.
It’s why I created ChiroTrust: to treat patients in a manner that maintains them as patients, keeps their attention, and gives them the confidence to refer others.
Back to social media…
Do it. Enjoy it.
But just know that if you HAVE TO use it, you have bigger problems and bigger opportunities.
