One of my heroes, Zig Ziglar, has been quoted saying,
“Timid salesmen have skinny kids.”
It’s an older quote, hence “salesmen”.
Thankfully nowadays, being timid and not being good at sales isn’t as detrimental to success.
Because the days of hard and bold selling are over.
Most markets won’t tolerate it.
Today, business owners who don’t please their customers, provide value, and maintain their attention before, during, and after the sale… lose.
Giving is the name of the game.
As my buddy Joe Polish says,
“Life gives to the givers and takes from the takers.”
Give more.
Sell less.
You’ll never regret it.
