My dad was a plumber.
On weekends, I would help him do “side jobs” to pay for the private schools that my siblings and I attended and because we had a “stay at home” mom.
Occasionally, he would hand me a shovel and tell me to start dig’n.
The first few inches were always easy but the deeper I got, the harder dig’n became… to the point of impossibility.
The same is true when starting a practice.
The first few new patients seem to just magically appear.
But as the weeks, months, and years go by, everything seems to become much more difficult and complex.
That’s why creating a high referral practice based on past and current patients is the optimal way for most DCs to survive and succeed.
Attracting new patients externally
is way more difficult and expensive.
You must also be certain that the type of patients you attract are the type most likely to return and refer for years to come.
For example, P.I., “functional medicine”, and even “corrective care” patients don’t return or refer nearly as much as a typical back pain patient.
The key to an easy and profitable practice is having the right message to the right market at the right time and…
Giving the right patients only
and exactly what THEY want.
Chasing high dollar cases is expensive.
If you know how to attract and take care of a typical short-term patient, that patient will become a long-term patient who becomes as valuable or even more valuable than any other.
They will come back and refer others.
Dig wide, not deep.
More patients, less visits.
And let ChiroTrust make it happen for you.
