Divorced?
Lost money in the stock market?
Been ripped off by a Chiropractic “consultant” or marketing “agency”?
Chances are you’ve done wrong or feel you’ve been wronged.
Well, welcome to the real world.
But here’s where the real danger lies:
Creating stories around all those negative experiences
as an attempt to make sense out of it all.
Examples:
“I’m better off alone.”
“The stock market is gambling.”
“Nobody in Chiropractic can be trusted.”
“Everybody’s out to get me.”
“I’m unlucky.”
Guess what?
It’s your stories that make you feel right and/or like a victim.
It’s your stories that keep you from making decisions.
It’s your stories that rob you of your confidence and true potential.
What’s the solution?
Stop telling yourself (and others) the stories that
you’ve created as an attempt to make sense out of life!
Assess people, situations, and opportunities in a vacuum.
Ask better questions.
Don’t beat yourself or others up when things don’t go your way.
Instead, keep swinging the bat, don’t take people, things, or outcomes too seriously, and stop making up stories that don’t make you feel good about your past and the people in it, including yourself.
Your future… Your success… Your happiness…
Has nothing to do with any of it and everything to do with who you are, what you do, and how you think… NOW!
