Each day, I have to be mindful of the big picture, what matters, and how I’m managing myself and my day.
My self-talk gets me through it.
The voice in my head says things like…
- You’ve always been hard on yourself and that’s what it took to get you to this place. Don’t ease up.
- Just because most people don’t get it or get you, that doesn’t mean anything.
- People will take advantage of you if you let them. Don’t let them.
- Just get through today. Don’t think about tomorrow.
- Stay on your game. No bad habits. None.
- Working out, eating clean, and napping are necessities, not distractions.
- Accept what is. Accept people as they are.
- Fun and happiness can sometimes be overrated. Stick to meaningful stuff.
These are the voices in my head.
I’m sure you have ’em too.
Listen to them.
They will keep you productive, sane, and successful.
