Just between us…
As much as you possibly can, reduce the need for your patients (customers) to think.
Build your practice around that.
Look at everything that they experience from the moment they enter your practice
What can you do to make everything more slippery with less friction?
For every incoming call, incoming patient, and office visit, what steps, procedures, policies, and explanations can you eliminate?
Here’s what I would like you to do…
Hook some earphones or earbuds to your phone and play some music—just enough to block out the sounds of the outside world. Do this at the grocery store or while walking around the block.
Seriously, do this.
Notice how much more pleasant the experience is and how easy it is to relax and not think.
THAT’S how you want your patients to feel.
You want them “there” but “detached” in a way that makes them feel good.
Of course, that is hard to duplicate but strive towards that ideal.
