Growing Your List, Your Followers, Your Relationships

Relationships are everything, and hands down, the most efficient and inexpensive way to maintain them is via email and snail mail.

For you new members, you should be emailing and snail mailing anyone who has been in your office within the last 12 months and adding new patients as you go.

Done right, your list will attract your patients for you.

Additionally, you should be following the influencers in your town on Facebook:

  • All the other local healthcare businesses.
  • All the local businesses that have a lot of satisfied customers and raving fans.

Follow them on Facebook, and—when appropriate—like, share, and comment on their posts. Then watch them and their followers slowly follow your page to like, share, and comment.

(I’m referring to their business Facebook page and posts, not their personal accounts. Of course, don’t follow anyone if it would be perceived as inappropriate or odd in any way.)
