There are many reasons small businesses fail but a major one is that they don’t provide enough value to consumers.

For example, even here in “high-end” family-oriented Danville, there are many normal, family restaurants, but the high-end ones often fold within a year or two.

Why?

Because that’s not what peeps here in Danville VALUE.

When it comes to eating out with their family, they “value”…

…The biggest bang for the buck.

Is it possible to offer the most expensive product or service within a category?

Yes, but only if the there is enough social proof, personality, demand, and perception of limited supply.

If you overcharge, then over time you will lose.

If you undercharge, you won’t be able to survive either.

But regardless of price, you must offer value.

As my buddy Joe Polish says, “Life gives to the givers and takes from the takers.”

Give more than you take.
