Owning a business is hard, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Why?
Because it eliminates most, if not all, the “competition”.
While everybody else is thinking about tomorrow and making lofty future-based goals, I’m working and living one day at a time.
When you focus on today, you get more done.
When you focus on today, you can be more nimble. You are not as committed to the why, when, who, and how.
When you focus on today, you can handle almost anything life throws at you.
You never know what’s going to happen days, weeks, months, and years from now, so why worry about it?
You have more control over today than you do any other day ever.
Today is all you have and all you will ever have.
Plan for it the night before and then execute today, enjoy today, and learn from today.
Rarely do things work out the WAY you THINK that they should.
Fewer expectations and less worry.
More execution and acceptance.
This also works with managing patients, by the way. 🙂
One day at a time.
