I’ve talked about in-office fertile ground considerations in the past…
- Uncluttered cleanliness, proper artwork and décor.
- Clinic jackets and looking good, healthy, fashionable, fit, successful, confident, happy, etc.
- Dome Tag/lapel pin.
- Modern Physician Letter/Monthly Pain Relief Update Binders.
- The business card in the Vault.
- Proper practice name and signage.
- Enclosed adjusting rooms.
- Daily Health Update handouts.
- Well thought out office fees.
- Treating on day one whenever possible.
…But I haven’t talked much about your care, mainly because our members/all D.C.s have their own “technique”, modalities, equipment, and so on.
Regardless of what you do, when it comes to your care/treatment, you should always keep this is mind…
- Do your patients enjoy the process and experience?
- Do your patients perceive high value from what you do?
- Is there enough Patient-Doctor face-to-face time?
- Are you doing everything that you can to be perceived as THE product? In other words, are they coming for you or for care that they may be able to get elsewhere?
- Do you spend enough time asking questions and more importantly, listening?
- Are you providing the results that THEY want in an acceptable time frame?
Your success is based on how well you give patients what they want, how they want it, and when they want it.
…and how well you can keep their attention before, during, and after their care—for life.
