Try this, doc!
Every morning when you wake up, before you get out of bed, try meditating, focusing, or praying—whatever works for you—on the following:
GRATITUDE for who is in your life, what you already have, and for what is possible.
MENTALLY LIST what you want for your practice, your family, and yourself for both the present and the future.
EXPECTATIONS of good things to happen that day. In your mind’s eye see, feel, and hear as if these experiences are happening in real-time.
This takes some effort, some concentration, some silence, and some practice, but…
I PROMISE that things will shift for you.
Do this every morning.
If you have to, do this 2-3 times per day.
Heck, you already know this…
What you focus on grows.
Focus on fear, you get more fear.
Focus on good, you get more good.
Is success this easy?
Yes, it practically is!
For example, just a few days ago I felt bummed, burned out, and unmotivated.
Any observer would have a hard time believing that I wasn’t running on all cylinders.
But based on how I felt, I knew something wasn’t right.
…And that something was me.
Change your mind and watch everything shift.
Remember, what you focus on grows.
Be optimistic.
Be positive.
Expect to win.
Zig Ziglar once said: “It is your attitude, more than your aptitude, that will determine your altitude.”
So true.
Now go make it a great day…
and start with your thoughts.
