This is why “multiplication through subtraction” is such a valuable mental exercise…
- How can you reduce your need to be anywhere? (Reduce)
- What items at home or office can you sell, give away, or throw away that aren’t adding value or more free time to your life? (Get rid of)
- Who should you spend less or no time with? (Detach)
- Is there anything that you still do that you could assign to someone else, automate, or outsource? (Delegate)
- Can you stop thinking about the past or the future and live only on the present moment? (Focus)
- What points of view, perspectives, stories, or beliefs make you feel less empowered, confident, or happy? (Eliminate)
- Do you really need what you want? (Minimize)
- Can you stop multitasking and stop putting up with distractions? (Create peace)
Let’s face it…
You are your practice.
Not your office.
Not your technique.
Not your equipment.
Just you.
But in order to be you, you first must be.
