Have you noticed that most “successful” D.C.s don’t stay that way for long?
Now, I’m not talking about the ones who collect $25,000-$35,000+/- a month with 40-50% overhead, a small seasoned staff, and a happy home life.
I’m referring to those ultra ambitious D.C.s with one or more big “clinics” collecting closer to $50-$100/$200/$300k a month.
Do you know why that is?
In my OPINION, it’s because Chiropractic is a hands-on, one-patient-at-a-time vocation.
Add in other products/services and it becomes something else under the umbrella of “Chiropractic”.
It’s like taking a Toyota Prius and installing an 8-cylinder motor in it.
It’s still a “Prius”.
But now it will go fast. It will get you to where you want to go a lot quicker and you may become the talk of the town but… it will soon break down.
It will fall apart.
It’s just not meant to be that.
So be careful about the practice you’re building.
It may serve you but for how long?
And at what price—to your sanity, your family life, and your reputation?
That is the big question.
