The best way to grow your practice is to grow your referrals.
The easiest way to grow your practice is to grow your referrals.
The fastest way…. you get my drift.
So why don’t most D.C.s use their referral stats as the #1 indicator of how they are doing and if they are growing?
Certainly one can say, “I have a 100% Referral practice.”
…but if they only average 10 referrals a month, how good is that?
You can’t make a living on 10 referrals a month.
You also have to get this…
Referrals are more profitable.
Referrals make a practice more stable.
Referrals are a lot easier to process and manage.
They also seem to respond to care better.
You just have to get out of your head that 30-60 new patients a month is a lot of work. It’s not when you don’t spend an hour on a consult and exam and another hour on a sales pitch report of findings.
It’s not when you don’t have to go out and get ‘em.
…and referrals aren’t expensive. Far from it.
Let me extrapolate the other way—this an exaggeration but you need to get this….
Patients want to get out of pain and out of your office as quickly as possible.
That’s what THEY want.
If every Chiropractor got patients out of pain and out of their office in just one visit, they’d have more business than they can handle. Millions more people would flock to a Chiropractors office.
Now, you and I know that one visit is nearly impossible in most cases. But WHAT IF you can get people better (on their terms) in 3-5. Or 5-10?
What if you charged patients the same per visit regardless of their “case type”?
What if you got off “appointment books” and let patients come in whenever THEY wanted to?
…and What If you could do all this working only Mondays through Thursdays?
Well you can provided that you POSITION your practice properly.
…and simplify your PROCEDURES properly.
…and you truly used ChiroTrust to PROMOTE your practice—a practice that was congruent with what CONSUMERS want.
Lastly…PATIENCE.
You must be patient to attract patients.
And you need the support of ChiroTrust and its members.
And you need to stay in the moment and relax a bit.
Building a practice is easy. Trust me, if you are struggling, it’s only because you are making it much more difficult than it has to be. For sure.
