I’m not joking here…
You can’t force your practice to grow but you can grow it slowly.
…and “slowly” feels good.
It’s not stressful, not expensive, and builds practices right.
So what does slowing down look like?
Taking every Friday – Sunday off.
Letting patients go and know that they will refer and come back.
Never bringing work home.
Creating, managing, and executing a reasonable and realistic “to do” list.
Always focusing on the moment.
Never multi-tasking.
Investing in each and every patient via never ending, ongoing, value adding communication. This is real marketing. It’s not pushy. It’s not so obvious. And it’s more effective. (Think “ChiroTrust”)
It takes time to straighten crooked teeth.
It takes time to build a building.
It takes time to build a business.
And it takes a lifetime to maintain it.
…so give yourself and your practice permission to slow down 🙂
