Distractions are like drugs.
They can mask the pain.
They can also kill your practice… without you even knowing it.
Surfing the internet.
Online Chiropractic forums.
Trade journals.
Chiropractic’s snake oil salesmen.
Even optimism can be a harmful distraction.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is feel the pain.
With pain comes clarity.
With pain comes motivation.
With pain, comes a plan.
Distractions rob you from all of that.
So be careful how and with whom you spend your time.
Eliminate as many variables as possible that can distract you from taking full responsibility for your practice and your life.
It’s the purest form of “Addition through subtraction” that I know.
