Do you own a transaction- or relationship-based practice?
A pre-pay practice is a transaction practice.
A practice that ignores patients before and after they get care is a transaction practice.
A practice that isn’t at least 50% referral based is a transaction practice.
Transaction practices require more money and energy to maintain.
They are “push”-based practices.
On the other hand, relationship-based practices are “pull” based.
Patient aren’t sold. They are attracted.
Patients don’t have to be there, they want to be there.
Relationship-based practices keep stats on the # of relationships acquired and nurtured.
Transaction-based practices focus on “Patient Visit Average” and “case fees”.
Relationship-based practices focus on # of relationships created and nurtured each month…. and the Lifetime Value of those relationships.
