School was never a good fit for me.
For me, school was a place to be told what to think and what to do.
That’s why I didn’t take school that seriously — I was chomping at the bit to get into the real world and make something happen.
Now, I don’t think that attitude would work for everyone, but based on my DNA, it worked for me and I knew it would.
Through the years, my competence caught up with my confidence in my business, my health, and my relationships.
It happened by being both anxious and patient simultaneously.
Anxious to getting things done each and every day but with the wisdom to know that you can only eat an elephant one bite at a time.
I didn’t always know what to do, but by putting a little intention and attention into what mattered each and every day, over time, I knew more and more.
I made better decisions.
I created more productive habits.
I became way more efficient and effective.
So how do you improve your practice, your health, and your relationships?
One day at a time.
My advice? Work ON your practice, your health, and your relationships… 30 minutes a day for each and a minimum of 4 days a week.
That’s 30 minutes ON your practice.
30 minutes ON you.
30 minutes ON the relationships that matter.
90 minutes a day (For the practice, just Monday-Thursday).
Don’t think about the past or worry about the future.
Focus on today.
Skip a day and it becomes that much more difficult.
You cannot make up for lost time.
So make each and every day count.
