This question really flusters most D.C.s.
But the real question should be, “Why do consumers ask this question in the first place?”
In general, it’s from not meeting consumers’ and patients’ “real doctor” expectations.
Now, you might be saying to yourself, “Fine, if that’s the case, then I’m okay with the question because the last thing I want to do is focus on symptoms and not address cause, correction, wellness, prevention….”
…and that’s okay but if you’ve been in business awhile and are still struggling, or if you’re making money but can’t seem to get to the next level, or if you are doing big numbers but your overhead is too high, then you may want to ask yourself, “Where in my practice am I not meeting the expectations of my customers?”
It’s a good question to ask.
